Digital Recording Device

Any tape recorder or digital recording device will record EVP (refer to terminology for description of EVP). The clarity of the EVP depends on how well the unit records.

It is advisable to have an external microphone which can be hand held or attached to your clothing during investigations which involve mobile investigation experiments. An external micro phone is not required if the investigation is static, where the recording device can be placed on a table or chair.

We recommend a digital recorder (Dictaphone type) that has a counter for reference purposes. This equipment can be purchased from £25.
