Structure of Events

Each location is assessed by the Paradox team in advance of allowing public to join in the Ghost Hunting. The proposed building and area are investigated during both the day and night to ensure the safety of the public. Any location that is identified as unsafe due to the structural integrity of a building or due to an excessively high level of paranormal activity will not be open to the public, however evidence will be published on our web site under an undisclosed location. Please be aware that we take both the safety of our team and the public very seriously.

When you arrive at the ghost hunt event you will be met by the Paradox team and attend an introduction, this will be followed by a health and safety briefing accompanied with refreshments.

There will be breaks throughout the night for light refreshments and a smoking area for you to go to should you wishes.

A tour of the location including the history surrounding the area will be carried out by an experienced spiritual medium to allow you to have a understanding of your surroundings. Prior to attending the event the CCTV system will be set up and all the equipment will be calibrated. You will be shown how to use all of the equipment within a workshop prior to the ghost hunt and during the course of the event your will have the opportunity of using all of the equipment.

By now you are aware of all the risk associated with the event, you have been introduced to the history and have an induction on how to use the equipment and understanding what the equipment indicates. You are now ready for the ghost Hunt.

You will be split up into equal teams, no greater than seven. Each team will initially be allocated an area or room along with set tasks and experiments to carry out. As the night progresses each group will proceed from area to area accompanied with a trained member of the Paradox team who will be on hand to answer any questions that you may have. Please be aware that all works will mainly be carried out in the dark. Each team member will be equipped with a two way radio and will be in contract will other members of the team. A safe room will be identified which will be manned at all times and have the recording devices for the CCTV units. If for some reason a party member feels unsafe they can retreat to the safe room.

After the experiments are concluded using the technical equipment and for those who wish to participate, we carry out vigils, séance, glass moving, table tipping and Ouija board experiments all of which will be controlled by an experienced medium. All persons who wish to be excluded directly from these activities will be asked to act as a witness and record the results.

On completion of the investigations a buffet will be served to the attendees while the Paradox events team assess the results. The evening will finish with a slide show and video evidence of the event followed by an open forum.
